The Feather Fund is a Special Purpose Fund of the Community Foundation of Carroll County, a Maryland Not-for-Profit and 501c(3) organization.

The fund was started by friends and family of Carollynn Suplee, who joined the ranks of angels in October 2003. Prior recipients of ponies are also active in the fund's operation.

Feather Fund recipients are chosen by the fund's board of directors, which includes:

Members of the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Department.

Prior recipients of Chincoteague ponies, either from the fund or from Carollynn and her family.
